My wireless connection has a weak signal. Can I fix this?
Several factors can limit and interfere with the signal of your network, including other electrical devices in your home or the structure of the home itself.
If your device is too far away from the wireless modem or router, this can cause a poor signal or a slow wireless connection.
It is very important that you keep your modem in an open environment, clear of obstructions, and as close as possible to your device. It is also advisable to store your modem at least ten feet away from copy machines, microwaves and wireless phones.
Some wireless routers run at a frequency of 2.4 gigahertz (GHz), the same as some cordless phones, walkie talkies, game controllers, etc.. If these devices operate on the same frequency, they could interfere with one another when in use.
