Why are images blocked in my web mail?
Email messages sometimes contain images that are used to notify the sender that your email address is valid. This may increase the amount of junk mail/spam you receive. To keep your inbox free of a large amount of junk mail/spam, the Sparklight webmail default blocks external images when you view messages.
To unblock picture downloads for all messages in webmail:
- Select ‘Preferences’ on the top task bar
- Select ‘Mail’ in the right-hand column
- Check the box next to Images: ‘Display external images automatically in HTML Email’
- Click ‘Save’ in the upper left under the ‘Mail’ tab
