How do I locate and access blocked email messages in my Sparklight email?
When an email message is marked as spam, it is placed in the "Spam" folder of your Sparklight web mail. In the event you want to access these messages, follow these steps:
- Log into your Sparklight webmail with your username and password HERE.
- The “Spam” folder is listed on the menu on the left side of the main webmail screen. Click on this folder to view the emails suspected to be Spam. You may open, move, or delete any messages at your discretion. If the ”Spam” option is not visible, click the triangle next to “Mail Folders” to display all available folders (noted with the arrow in the image below).
If you suspect a message was marked as Spam but cannot find it, the message may be blocked by the Global Spam filter. If you suspect this has occurred, please contact our tech support team to help investigate this issue further.
NOTE: Email messages that have been in the Spam folder for more than thirty (30) days will be deleted automatically. The Spam folder will contain messages blocked by Sparklight’s webmail service and does not include any 3rd-party security scanners, firewalls, or "Junk Mail" folders from other email clients.
