What is Picasa, and how do I use it on my TiVo?
Picasa Web Albums is Picasa's newest feature, designed to help users post and share their photos quickly and easily on the web. Now you can use your broadband-connected TiVo box to access photos stored in your Picasa Web Albums.
To sign up for your own Web Albums, visit picasaweb.google.com to create a free account.
Access your Picasa Web Albums from your TiVo box:
Step 1: Create a Picasa web album account if you do not already have one.
Step 2: Upload your photos.
Step 3: Go to TiVo Central and do one of the following.
On TiVo Premiere with HD menus: select "Music & Photos."
On all other TiVo boxes or on the TiVo Premiere with SD menus: select "Music, Photos, & Showcases"
Step 4: Select "Photos & Slideshows"
Step 5: If your already signed in, select 'My Photos' > My Picasa Web Albums' to view your photos. If you're not yet signed in, select 'My Photo Accounts' > 'Sign in to Picasa.'
Step 6: Enjoy your photos.
Viewing public photos
You don't need a Picasa account to browse and view public photos from your TiVo box.See it
Search for keywords to find interesting photos, and bookmark photos or albums (by pressing RECORD on your TiVo remote) to view them later.
Press PLAY on your TiVo remote while viewing albums to play a slideshow.
