How You’ll Receive/Access Your Bill Explainer
There are now several convenient ways to access your Bill Explainer, making it easier to review your monthly bill in the way that works best for you.
If you receive your bill by email, you’ll automatically get a secure link to your Bill Explainer each month. Just click the link in your bill notification email — that’s it. No password or portal login required.
You can also access your Bill Explainer in other places you may already use to manage your account, including:
- SMS text message alerts, if you’re enrolled in Text Alerts
- Our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system when you call for billing details
- A link in your online customer account

Scroll down to see a line-by-line explanation of your plan, fees, discounts and credits.
3. Partial-Month or Transition Charges
If your plan changed, you upgraded your speed or your billing dates shifted, you may see prorated amounts. Your Bill Explainer shows exactly what those are and why they appear.
How to Get the Most Out of Your Bill Explainer
Look for the “What changed?” button
- It expands your personalized breakdown so you can explore every detail at your own pace.
Check it each month
- Your Bill Explainer link stays active for 30 days and reflects your account as of the day your bill was created.
Use it before contacting support
- Many customers find the answers they need right away.
Use the payment link if you're ready to pay
- You’ll see a “Pay Now” link included for convenience.
