How to Access the Virtual Assistant
- Open the MySparklight app on your mobile device
- Tap the chat icon from the top navigation of any screen
What Can the Virtual Assistant Help With?
You can either type your question directly or tap one of the quick options shown on screen. The main topics available are:
- Wifi / Internet — troubleshooting, speed, and connectivity help
- Phone — phone service questions and support
- TV — channel, equipment, and service questions
- Billing — balance, payments, and billing inquiries
- Account Details — view and manage your account information
- New Service / New Customer — information on getting started with Sparklight
- Quick Pay — make a fast payment without navigating through menus
- Talk to a Billing Expert — connect with a live billing agent
- Talk to Tech Support — connect with a live technical support agent
Viewing Your Conversation History
When you open the chat, you will see a log of your previous conversations with the Virtual Assistant. Each conversation is timestamped so you can easily reference past interactions. To start a fresh session, simply tap New Conversation at the bottom of the screen.
Tips for Getting the Best Results
- Be specific — if you type a question, include key words like "payment due date" or "wifi not working" for the most accurate response
- Use the quick options when available — they are the fastest way to get account-specific information
- Not finding what you need? Tap Talk to a Billing Expert or Talk to Tech Support at any time to connect with a live agent
- You can tap Go back to Main Menu at any point to start over
