Nova1Net Email Retirement
Effective March 3, 2026, Nova1Net will no longer provide email service. If you currently use a Nova1Net email address (for example, yourname@nova1net.com), you’ll need to transition to a new email provider before that date so you don’t lose access to important messages, contacts and account notifications.
Important: Your Nova1Net mailbox will be permanently deleted. Any emails left in your Nova1Net email account as of March 3, 2026, will be permanently deleted and unrecoverable.
What you need to do by March 3
- Establish a new email service provider (see additional details in the Email Transition Checklist below).
- Update your Sparklight account contact email (if needed). If your Nova1Net email address is your contact email for your Sparklight (formerly Nova1Net) services, please log in to your online Sparklight account at customer.sparklight.com to update it to a different email address.
- Update your Sparklight TV login email (if needed). If you use your Nova1Net email address to log in to Sparklight TV, please update your login information with your new email address right away.

Set up your new email address with a new provider, such as Gmail, Outlook or Mail.com.
- Security tip: Be sure to choose a unique and complex password.
- Download contacts from your previous email address and import them into your new email account.
- Save any emails you wish to keep from your previous email account.

- Your Sparklight online account
- Sparklight TV account

- Online billing and bank accounts

A: Over time, many customers have wanted a more modern email experience than our legacy platform can provide. Because fewer customers use Nova1Net email today, we’re retiring the service so customers can move to an email provider with more features, stronger security tools and more flexibility.
Q: When will Nova1Net email be discontinued?

A: Many popular email services are available at no cost and offer helpful features like strong spam filtering, abundant storage and mobile apps. Another big benefit is portability — you can keep that email address even if you switch online services.
Q: How can I move my saved email contacts over to my new email account?
A: In general, you’ll sign in to the same Nova1Net webmail you use today, go to Contacts and use the export option to download a file you can import into your new email provider. Here's the full list of steps:
- Click the Contacts tab.
- Click My Contacts.
- Click Import/Export Contacts.
- Under Export Contacts, select your mail client.
- Click Export and download the .csv file of your contacts through your web browser.
- To import the contacts into your new email service, you will need to locate instructions from the new email service/client you are using.
Q: How do I save or export my emails from Nova1Net email?
A: In general, you’ll sign in to Nova1Net webmail, select the emails you want to keep and use the export/download option to save them. Here's the full list of steps:
- Navigate to the folder from which you wish to export emails.
- Select the emails you wish to export by clicking the checkbox next to the email titles.
- Right click on one of the selected emails and click Export to Zip. This will download a .zip archive of the emails to your computer.
- Emails can be extracted and viewed from the archive.
- Some clients/service may allow importing. If applicable, you can locate instructions on the support site of the new email service/client you are using.
Q: Will I receive a credit or a lower bill once Nova1Net email ends?
A: Nova1Net email has been provided as a free add-on, so there isn’t a separate email fee to remove. We always aim to include as many helpful features and tools as we can in your service, and this update is designed to help you transition to an email provider with more modern features and flexibility.
