My digital receiver continuously resets or reboots. Can I fix that?

Ensure that the digital receiver is connected to a good, steady power source. If the digital receiver loses power, such as during a power outage or when the power cord is unplugged, it will reboot when it regains power.

To avoid accidental loss of power, connect the digital receiver to a power outlet that is not controlled by a light switch.

Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the power outlet and the back of the digital receiver.

When possible, connect the digital receiver directly to a wall outlet. If connecting to a power strip, ensure the on/off switch on the power strip is not loose and cannot be accidentally moved, such as from other wires leaning on the switch.
