From time to time you may experience issues with your TV service, including:
- Poor Picture Quality (lines, static, snow)
- Error Message: "One Moment Please. This Channel Will be Available Shortly."
- Error Message: "Channel Not Available."
- Tiling or freezing of picture.
Many times, these issues can be fixed by completing the steps below:
- Unplug the power cord and disconnect the coaxial cable from the back of the digital receiver. Wait for at least 15-20 seconds.
- Reconnect the coaxial cable to the digital receiver, followed by plugging in the power cord. The digital receiver will reboot, initialize, and return to normal operation. This may take up to 15 minutes to complete.
- If the issue persists, please call Sparklight’s 24/7 Technical Care Center at 877-692-2253 for further support.
Troubleshooting TV Service Interruption
If you are experiencing a TV service interruption, follow the troubleshooting steps below:
- Verify that the digital receiver and TV are powered on.
- Check for any loose or unplugged cables.
- Verify that the TV is on the proper TV mode (HD, 720p, etc.) and that all extra devices (DVD players/Blu-ray/streaming devices) are powered off. (You can switch between TV modes by using the button marked “TV/Video,” “Source,” “Input” or “Mode” on your TV remote.)
- If your interactive guide, options menu, or any channels are still not visible, please power cycle the digital receiver using these steps:
- Unplug the power cord and disconnect the coaxial cable from the back of the digital receiver. Wait for at least 15-20 seconds.
- Reconnect the coaxial cable to the digital receiver, followed by plugging in the power cord. The digital receiver will reboot, initialize, and return to normal operation. This may take up to 15 minutes to complete.
- Unplug the power cord and disconnect the coaxial cable from the back of the digital receiver. Wait for at least 15-20 seconds.
- If the issue persists, please call Sparklight’s 24/7 Technical Care Center at 877-692-2253 for further support.
NOTE: It can take up to 20 minutes for the interactive guide, options menu, and channels to reload after power cycling the digital receiver.
