Q. What am I billed for each month?
A. Your cable service is provided on a month-to-month basis. The prorated monthly service charge, which includes any equipment lease fees and any installation charges, is normally payable either before or when service is installed. After that, we will bill you each month in advance for service. Your cable bill will include a list of your services, package or special offer discounts, payments, credits and any applicable fees and taxes.
Q. How will I be billed each month?
A. Every month, Sparklight will send you the bill by mail or electronically, whichever option you sign up for. The options you can choose from are Easy Pay (automatically withdrawn), Online Payment, pay by phone, or mail in your payment. Please click HERE for more detailed information on your payment options.

Q. Can I view my entire billing statement online?
A. Yes you can! After you've logged into our payment portal there will be options to view your current billing statement on the Payment Options screen.
Q. How does advance billing work?
A. Sparklight bills all customers in advance for monthly standard service charges and in arrears for usage-based charges. Credits or charges for any service changes made during the month will be reflected.
Q. How will I know my payment was successfully processed?
A. Your last payment amount will appear in the Online Payment History web page after a payment is confirmed. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail from Sparklight confirming a payment was made to your account.
Q. Can I change my billing date?
A. You are not able to pick a due date, however, you are able to change which billing cycle you fall into. Please keep in mind that changing your billing cycle could result in your next bill being slightly higher or lower due to the changes during your cycle. If you wish to change your billing cycle, please contact our billing department to facilitate this change. Below are the billing cycles you can elect to be a part of.
Billing cycle A: 1st – 7th
Billing cycle B: 8th – 15th
Billing cycle C: 16th – 22nd
Billing cycle D: 23rd – 30th / 31st
Q. When is my bill due?
A. Payment in full is due to Sparklight by the ''Due By'' date indicated on your statement. If full payment is not received by this date your bill will become past due and may be subject to additional fees such as late payment charges, electronic reactivation fees, returned check fees, or subject to disconnection of service. You can log in to your account and check your due date via Mybill.cableone.net .
Q. What if I miss the payment due date or do not pay the full amount?
A. By not paying the invoiced amount each month as due, your account will be subject to late, penalty, reconnect or termination fees as well as disabling and/or disconnecting of all services. If you think you are going to be late for a payment please give us a call.
Q. When does a prorate of my bill occur?
A. A prorated charge reflects the length of time you use services. For example, if you add a service in the middle of the month, you are not responsible for paying the full monthly price. Instead, you will be charged a portion of the full monthly price based on the number of days you have had the service. Check the detail section of your statement to see the date ranges for these charges and/or credits.
Q. What are Franchise fees?
A. Sparklight is required to pay the Franchise Fees to provide cable TV services in your area. Sparklight is permitted to pass the fees through as a separate line item on your bill. The fee calculation is pursuant to FCC rules and federal law.
Q. How do I handle a disagreement with any portion of my bill?
A. If you have any questions regarding your bill or disagree with any portion of your bill, immediately contact Sparklight with your concerns. You must contact us no later than 60 days from the bill's Due By date at 1-877-692-2253.
